Just came across this the other day which is pretty useful, especially if you are studying Psychology at a higher level, or just like finding out more. The NOBA project is designed to help students save money and is an online textbook. There are loads of different chapters, each one written by experts in that particular field and are bang up to date.
Examples of chapters include:
The history of mental illness, The biochemistry of love, Culture and emotion, Psychopathology, Multi-modal perception, Optimal levels of happiness, Attraction and beauty and Emerging adulthood.
These are just a few to whet your appetite, there are over 100 chapters so far! More are being added the whole time
You can choose which chapters to put into your own online textbook or there are some textbooks which are already created. It’s free, you just need to sign up with a valid email address.
